An ad blocker in the browser only covers the browser. A blocker at the DNS level covers every app on the device, including ones you cannot install an extension in. natbox sets up WireGuard with AdGuard Home on your own small server, so every device on your VPN gets ad and tracker blocking, at home, on mobile data or on public Wi-Fi.

How it works
- Order the VPN plan and choose "VPN + ad blocker" as the one-click app.
- Install the WireGuard app on your phone or computer and scan the QR code from the App tab of the client area.
- Connect. Your DNS now goes through AdGuard Home on your server, which drops requests to known ad and tracking domains.
- To see what is blocked or add your own lists, open AdGuard Home at the address in the App tab while connected to the VPN. It is not reachable from the internet.
Why your own VPN instead of a VPN service
- Nobody else on your server. Your traffic is not mixed with thousands of strangers, so sites rarely block it or show endless captchas.
- You hold the keys. The WireGuard keys are generated on your server, and you can log in as root and check everything.
- Encrypted DNS upstream. AdGuard Home sends its own lookups over DNS-over-HTTPS to Cloudflare and Quad9.
Good to know
- This is a private VPN for you and your household. Selling or sharing it with the public is not allowed (acceptable use policy).
- It does not change your location to many countries: the server is in Germany, so you appear to be there.
- DNS blocking catches most ads and trackers, but not ads served from the same domain as the content, such as some video ads.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The official WireGuard app is free on both, and on Windows, macOS and Linux. Scan the QR code and connect.
Will it slow down my connection?
WireGuard is light and fast, and blocked ads are never downloaded, so pages often load faster. Speed depends on your distance to Germany.
Can I add more devices?
Yes. Add more WireGuard peers on the server, one per device. The WireGuard guide shows how.
Can I pay with PayPal?
