WireGuard VPS: your own private VPN
natbox offers a VPN plan at $2.75 for 3 months: a very small server with WireGuard already set up. Scan the QR code in the client area with the WireGuard app and you are connected. It is your own server, not a seat on a shared VPN service.

How to set up WireGuard
- Order the VPN plan and pick the WireGuard app.
- Install the WireGuard app on your phone or computer.
- Open the App tab in the client area and scan the QR code, or copy the config.
To add more devices, or to set it up by hand on any plan, follow the guide: Run a WireGuard VPN.
Limits of the WireGuard VPS
- Your traffic leaves through our shared IPv4 address, in Germany. Other customers use that address too, so it is not an IP of your own.
- This is a private VPN for your own devices and your household. Open VPN or proxy services for the public are not allowed (Acceptable Use Policy).
- The VPN plan starts at 3 months and is paid with crypto or account credit.
- Outgoing mail ports 25, 465 and 587 are blocked.
WireGuard VPS questions
Does WireGuard work on a NAT VPS?
Yes. WireGuard needs one UDP port, and every natbox server has its own forwarded ports, TCP and UDP. WireGuard works inside natbox containers.
How many devices can I connect?
You can add several of your own devices. The VPN plan has 128 MB RAM, which is meant for personal use, not for a crowd.
Can I use the VPN plan for anything else?
It is a very small general Linux server, but it is made for one job. If you may want to do more, choose Nano.
