// Honest hosting, minimal overhead, real Linux — starting at $0.99
Most cheap VPS providers overload their nodes, hide fees behind "setup charges," and wrap everything in a slow control panel nobody asked for. We wanted something different: a fast, honest service that gives you a real Linux shell with a fair price tag.
NATBox started as an internal tool — a shell script to manage LXC containers on a single host. When friends started asking for their own containers, we formalized it: clean order form, automated email notifications, and a straightforward management system. No database bloat from day one, no automatic billing headaches.
Today NATBox serves developers, hobbyists, students, and small businesses who need a Linux environment without the enterprise price tag. If you need a VPS to run a bot, test a deployment, host a small app, or just learn Linux — NATBox is for you.
NATBox runs LXC (Linux Containers) on dedicated hardware. Each VPS is an isolated LXC container with enforced resource limits (RAM via cgroups, disk via quotas). Containers share one public IPv4 address via iptables NAT rules, with each customer receiving a dedicated block of 20 TCP/UDP ports.
